Jerry now turns back to Sam and his right hands gently
squeezes her shoulder. "I can feel from your deltoids that you are a pretty fit young woman. Do you train a lot?" "Sure thing - Kim and I spend about 2 to 3 hours everyday training in the gym, working the weights and the punch bag." "What are your stats?" asks Jerry. "I'm 22 years of age and 5' 7" and 133lb" replies Sam looking intently at Jerry. "And how many fights have you had?" "I've had 8 fights and have won all of them inside the distance. That's not counting sparring fights with Kim of course!" "You sound pretty confident about taking on the champ tonight?" "I sure am!" replies Sam emphatically. "It sounds like she's over the hill - 32 years old and out of action for the last 2 years!" "So you think you could be $2000 richer by the end of the fight!" says Jerry with a chuckle in his voice. "I don't think - I know!" laughs Sam. "Well that's great!" replies Jerry. "Now our ring girl, Stephanie, will take you back stage to change into your fighting gear and we'll see again in a few minutes when you can meet the mystery champ!" |
