opponent?" asks Jerry. "Still feeling as confident?" "Sure thing, she doesn't look too hard to me. That mask is designed to scare her opponent, but it does nothing to me. I remember her taking a fall from the pedestal in her last appearance as a gladiator; she took a dive that night and she's going to take another one tonight!" There was a gasp of disbelief from the audience at Sam's foolish arrogance. Looking straight at the Hood Sam says "You are going to end up spread-eagled on this stage tonight just like you did on the arena floor two years ago!" |
