Suddenly the Governor spoke out:

in a Caestus battle!" I gulped in horror, but tried to keep my expression neutral, as a huge cheer of approval greeted the Governor's announcement. I had never fought with caestus before and had hoped I would never have to! Editor's note: A caestus is a Roman boxing glove made out of leather or metal. |
