Right on time, Richard’s lovely female associate brought Dan to The Stockade.  He moved into his reserved spot alongside Richard to watch the action.  His face went white with shock as it finally registered who was fighting, and why.  He wanted to say something, but knew he couldn’t.  Having just purchased the item, indecisive Dan pulled a ring box out of his coat pocket and looked at the very large and sparkling diamond engagement ring contained within.  After a snap shut, he slid the box back into his pocket, the first of many gifts planned for the woman Dan intended to marry.  Dan just didn’t realize that the decision of which girl would get the ring would be decided this afternoon.
