Farah had not been given any clothes to wear and the sun was hot, so she soon sought the shade provided by one of the ruined stone arches.
Her immediate needs seemed have been provided for as there was a pool of fresh water not far away where she could drink and bathe, and she had discovered that one of the ruined pillars doubled as a food dispenser.  It was so nice to be out of the police cells that she felt almost content sitting in the shade of the arch.  As she waited for something to happen she kept wonder what had happened to Gary and the rest of their small gang of friends.
