The seconds left the ring and the Ref
called the two fighters together in the middle of the ring.
"OK you both understand that this is a
free style boxing match, that means you can use your feet, knees and
elbows as well as your fists? But no head butting or biting and no
wrestling holds - this is a boxing match!"
The Ref paused to make sure they both agreed, then she continued...
"You can hit any part of the body or head - there are "no below the belt"
rules in this fight. OK?"
Jade gulped .... she hadn't been told that! But she felt it was
too late to object now, so nodded her agreement.
"The fight is over ten rounds of 3 minutes each with 3 minute between
rounds. The winner will be determined by a knock out to a count
of ten or on a points decision award by me. Is that all
understood?"
The two fighters nodded their agreement. |
