| Continued from part 4: My name is Annie Devon and I am a boxing and wrestling referee. I would like to tell you about a match I refereed last week in the international stadium here in town. Once in a while the fight organisers arrange a Pro-Am "Domination Derby" match to suit the fans who like to see one sided matches where one fighter totally dominates the other. The rules of these matches are simple: - 5 rounds of 5 minutes each - The amateur gets $100 for each minute of actually fighting time and a bonus of $1000 for lasting the full 5 rounds - The professional gets $500 for each pin or submission, but nothing for a KO or a submission or pin that causes the amateur to retire from the match. |
