She has been kept blindfolded since she came to the basement, so she doesn't know how many captors she has.  She knows Zimbali by the slightly masculine smell of the body rub she uses, but she suspects that some of her punishments have been administered by other women.
Suddenly she hears somebody entering the room and recognises that it is Zimbali by her smell.
