Revisited": Richard Irving has become increasingly intrigued to learn more about the Privateer Captain and his daughter Tanya who arrived on his ancestor's island in 1762. Searching the web he has found numerous references to a "fighting female privateer" who appeared on many of the Caribbean islands during the 1760s. Were all these references to Tanya he wondered? Or were there other fighting female privateers sailing around the Caribbean at that time? |
